Software Representation and Implementation

- Sesam (DNV) and Diana FEA — finite element analysis for structural and hydrodynamic assessment.
- SDC Verifier — automated results verification against technical standards.
- Cognite — operational data and digital twin platform for industrial contextualization.
- MO4 — partner software represented by NSG (function not confirmed in the source consulted — validate before publishing).
We’ve applied OrcaFlex, for example, in the decommissioning of the FPSO Fluminense (structural and lifting analyses, including DAF assessment) and in the stabilization and removal of a rudder on an operational FPSO (dynamic rigging simulations in severe sea states).
We don’t just deliver the license: we train teams and embed these processes into the client’s own workflow.

Digital Twin and Operational Data
With Cognite, we integrate field data into a living model of the asset. Structural integrity management is then updated continuously, based on real operational data — not just point-in-time inspections.
The Role of Engineering
Technology speeds up analysis and organizes complex scenarios. The final call on what to investigate, discard or prioritize still belongs to the engineer in charge — it’s that combination, not the tool on its own, that makes the difference.
